Hedgeness Inc. (“Hedgeness,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the retirement and financial calculators (the “Calculators”) embedded on various advisor and firm websites. 

This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use our Calculators. It is separate from the general Hedgeness.com Privacy Policy, which applies to visitors of our main website. 

By using the Calculators, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. 

1. Information We Collect

Hedgeness does not collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) when you use the Calculators unless the firm hosting the Calculator has explicitly enabled a contact or lead-capture form. 

If a form is present, any information you provide (such as your name, email, or message) is sent directly to that firm or advisor, not to Hedgeness. The advisor or firm is responsible for how they use that information under their own privacy policy. 

2. Calculator Input Data

The data you enter into a Calculator (for example, age, savings amount, income goal, etc.) is processed in real time to generate illustrative results. 

This input data: 

• Is not stored by Hedgeness, and 

• Is used only temporarily to perform the calculation displayed on your screen. 

We do not associate this data with your identity or retain it after you leave the page. 

3. Log Data and Analytics

Like most web tools, the Calculators may collect limited, anonymous information automatically when you access them. This may include: 

• Browser type and version 

• Approximate geographic region (city/state) 

• Device type 

• Referring page (the website hosting the calculator) 

• Date and time of access 

This “Log Data” helps us understand usage patterns and improve performance but does not identify you personally.

The Calculators are designed for use by adults (financial professionals and their clients) and are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. 
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered personal data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted on our website or made available through the firm hosting the Calculator. The updated policy is effective immediately upon posting.
